Well, it's April and we recently finished another free training seminar.  On March 7th, we conducted a mold seminar at the Lakewood City Council Chambers.  With attendees and board members, we had 52 in attendance.  Thanks to all who attended and special thanks to our speakers.

Over the last year, we have conducted two seminars in the metro area, one in the southwest (Durango) and two in the west (Grand Junction and Montrose).  Coming up on May 3rd, we will be presenting our Meth Seminar at the Rocky Mountain Hazardous materials Association (RMHMA) conference in Ft. Collins.

Please watch for announcements and track our Web site for the date of our first membership meeting coming this June.  We hope to schedule quarterly membership meetings to give our members a chance to gather as well as hear from a guest speaker on relevant topics.  In June, we hope to have speakers from the DEA and local drug task forces give us an update on current meth trends.  We'll see you in June!

Finally, please watch for upcoming developments in the legislature.  An article in this month's newsletter contains more detail on how some of the pending bills may impact those of us in the business of testing for and cleaning up meth labs.

Thanks to all of you who have joined CAMMP and please encourage your colleagues to also join and help us grow our organization.
